Ukrainian army gets 16 tanks, five APCs

"The Ukrainian military have received 16 tanks and five APCs manufactured by the Ukroboronprom State Concern," Poroshenko wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, T-80 and T-64 tanks have been fully restored at the Kharkiv Armored Plant and will soon defend the country, whereas five new BTR-4 armored personnel carriers are the work of the Morozov Design Bureau.

In addition, the head of state noted that Ukroboronprom had also demonstrated the latest weapons - the Verba multiple launch rocket system, the Sapsan rocket system created with other Ukrainian defense industry enterprises, and the BTR-4MB1 APC, which was created with the consideration of the design solutions of the NATO member countries.

The president stressed that the new Ukrainian army is getting stronger every day.
