Poroshenko shows new Uragan MLRS for Ukrainian army

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received a new batch of repaired long-range and powerful Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has written on Facebook.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces have received a new batch of repaired Uragan multiple launch rocket systems. It is one of the most advanced and powerful multiple launch rocket systems that are in service with our military," the president said.
He added that the system can fire 16 missiles within 20 seconds and hit targets at a range of up to 35 kilometers.
"We continue to strengthen the defense capability of the Ukrainian army!" the head of state said.
Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko said that the Ukroboronprom State Concern transferred over 3,500 units of ammunition and military hardware to the Ukrainian army this year.
