Militants launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 14 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements once, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day. 

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk),  Novomykhailivka (28km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Hnutove (19km north-west of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

Russian-occupation troops fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. In addition, the enemy opened fire from 120mm mortars on JFO units outside Pavlopol.

No casualties among Ukrainian troops were reported in last day.

According to the intelligence, two militants were wounded over the past day.

Today, the illegal armed formations have already launched one attack on positions of the Joint Forces outside Pavlopol. Heavy weapons have not been used. No casualties are reported.
