Russian-backed militants launched four attacks on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.
“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Stanytsia Luhanska (16km north-east of Luhansk), Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk), Luhanske (59km north-east of Donetsk) and Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reported.
The terrorists fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used weapons on infantry fighting vehicle to shell Ukrainian troops near Vilne (70km south-west of Donetsk) and anti-tank guided missiles – near Luhanske.
