Zelensky: Ukrainian military authorized to repel invaders in Donbas

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has assured that the desire for peace does not weaken the ability of Ukraine to repel the aggressor.
“Today we make every effort for the sake of peaceful settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, but I do not advise the enemy to think that our desire for peace weakens our ability to fight back. That's not the case! Ukrainian military are always able to give an adequate and powerful response to the aggressor's actions,” Zelensky stated at the ceremony of introducing new Defense Minister Andriy Taran at the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The President stressed that anyone, who thinks that it is possible to shoot Ukrainian soldiers with impunity, is mistaken. According to him, this is evidenced by the statistics of the enemy losses in March.
