Five ceasefire violations recorded in JFO area

Over the past day, June 20, five ceasefire violations by the Russian-occupation troops were recorded in the Joint Forces Operation area in eastern Ukraine.

"In particular, the enemy opened fire from small arms on Ukrainian positions near Starohnativka (51km south of Donetsk); tripod-mounted man-portable antitank guns – outside Travneve (51km north-east of Donetsk); grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns, and small arms – in the area of Prychepylivka (50km north-west of Luhansk); 120mm mortars – near Novozvanivka (70km west of Luhansk)," the press center of the JFO Headquarters informs.

In Luhansk region, an enemy UAV was seen to fly crossing the line of contact. The drone was timely suppressed with radio-electronic warfare equipment.

"Our defenders suffered no losses. Ukrainian service members fired back in response to the enemy shelling. The Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) informed the OSCE SMM about all violations by the Russian-occupation troops, using an established coordination mechanism," the JFO Headquarters reports.

As of 07:00 on June 21, no ceasefire violations were recorded. Ukrainian troops control the situation in the Joint Forces Operation area.
