Ukrainian serviceman wounded in JFO area
“Today, August 17, the armed formations of the Russian Federation once again violated the ceasefire and shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the area of responsibility of the operational and tactical group ‘North’. A serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was wounded in shelling,” the operational and tactical group “North” posted on Facebook.
The wounded soldier was taken to a medical facility, his health status is satisfactory.
The Ukrainian side of the Joint Control and Coordination Center (JCCC) informed the OSCE SMM about the actions of the Russian-occupation troops through the established coordination mechanism.
As reported, as of 07:00, two ceasefire violations were recorded: near Prychepylivka and towards Vodiane near Donetsk.
Over the past day, the Russian-occupation troops launched five attacks, killing a Ukrainian serviceman.
