Enemy UAVs drop two IEDs on residential area in Zaitseve
That’s according to the press service of the Joint Forces Command, Ukrinform reports.
"On September 6, at about 4:20, Russian-led armed groups flew a UAV which dropped two improvised explosive devices on the northern outskirts of a residential area in the Zaitseve settlement, Donetsk region," the statement says.
“One of them didn’t explode,” the Command notes.
The IEDs are believed to have been 3D-printed and contained 500 grams of a C4 explosive, as well as cassettes filled with up to 6mm steel balls.
According to the press service, over the past week, Russia-controlled armed groups have used UAVs five times, grossly ignoring reports filed by Ukraine within the established coordination mechanism. This led to the shelling of Ukrainian defense positions with weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements.
All violations were duly recorded and documented by the Ukrainian side to the Joint Ceasefire Control and Coordination Center, while the relevant notes were forwarded to the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission and pre-trial investigation bodies of Ukraine, the press service said.
As Ukrinform wrote earlier, during the past 24 hours, on September 5, the invaders four times violated the ceasefire. No casualties in Ukrainian Army ranks were reported.
