OSCE SMM records 960 ceasefire violations in eastern Ukraine over past day
“In Donetsk region, the SMM recorded 715 ceasefire violations, including 98 explosions (six impacts, two airbursts and 90 undetermined),” reads the OSCE SMM daily report 272/2021 issued on November 19, 2021.
The majority of ceasefire violations occurred in areas north of Shyrokyne (government-controlled, 100km south of Donetsk).
In the previous reporting period, the Mission recorded 408 ceasefire violations in the region, some of which also occurred in areas north of Shyrokyne.
“In Luhansk region, the SMM recorded 245 ceasefire violations, including 130 explosions (one outgoing, 31 impacts and 98 undetermined),” the OSCE SMM informs.
The majority of ceasefire violations occurred inside and in areas close to the disengagement area near Zolote (government-controlled, 60km west of Luhansk).
In the previous reporting period, the Mission recorded 256 ceasefire violations in the region, some of which also occurred in areas close to the disengagement area near Zolote.
