OSCE report: Almost 100 tanks deployed outside storage sites in occupied part of Luhansk region
That’s according to OSCE’s Daily Report No.303/2021, published by the OSCE SMM on December 28 and seen by Ukrinform.
In particular, on December 23, an SMM drone recorded two tanks in Perevalsk (38 km west of Luhansk).
On December 24, the OSCE drone discovered 22 tanks at a training ground operated by the Russian occupation forces near the village of Myrne (28 km southwest of Luhansk). Also, 27 armored combat vehicles were spotted in the area.
On the same day, the Mission's UAV saw 14 tanks at a training range near Shymshynivka village (27 km southwest of Luhansk). Also, at a training site near the village of Kruhlyk (31 km southwest of Luhansk) 25 tanks were discovered.
As noted, also on December 24, at the training ground near Buhaivka (37 km southwest of Luhansk) the observers spotted 28 tanks. At the said range run by the Russian occupation forces, 38 armored combat vehicles were also spotted.
In addition, on December 23, the SMM recorded three BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers and three towed howitzers deployed in violation of disengagement lines near the village of Nyzhnia Krynka, temporarily occupied Donetsk region.
On the same day, the Mission discovered a ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun at one of the sites near Kypuche (Artemivsk district; non-government-controlled, 46 km west of Luhansk).
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the OSCE SMM spotted 21 BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, deployed in violation of withdrawal lines.
