There have been no new casualties among Ukrainian defenders, says the press service of the JFO Command, according to Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of the day, as of 11:00, one ceasefire violation on the part of the Russian occupation forces has been recorded. In the direction of Pisky, the enemy opened fire using easel-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. Ukrainian troops have held their ground across the line of contact, the Command stressed.

Almost 1.5 hectares of the territory was cleared of land mines and other explosives. Fifty-eight explosive devices were retrieved and handed over for destruction.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the past 24 hours, on January 9, the Russian occupation forces committed two ceasefire violations with the use of weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements. As a result of enemy attacks, a Ukrainian military serviceman sustained injuries.
