Donbas update: Occupiers open fire 66 times in past 24 hours, employing artillery, mortars
That’s according to the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past 24 hours, on February 18, 66 violations were recorded on the part of the Russian Federation’s armed formations, 52 of which involved weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements," the statement said.
Russian occupation forces fired on:
Bolotne (twice) – using 122 mm artillery and 120 mm mortars.
Novohnativka (twice) – 122 mm artillery and 82 mm mortars.
Staryi Aidar – 122 mm artillery.
Starohnativka (five times) – 122 mm artillery, 120 mm mortars, as well as large-caliber machine guns and anti-tank grenade launchers.
Chermalyk – automatic easel-mounted grenade launchers.
Novoselivka Druha – 82 mm mortars.
Pisky (four times) – 120 mm mortars.
Pivdenne – 120 mm mortars and easel-mounted anti-tank grenade launchers.
Shumy, Vodiane, Opytne, Hnutove – 82 mm mortars.
Nevelske – 120 mm and 82 mm mortars.
Svitlodarsk (twice) – 120 mm mortars.
Luhanske (eleven times) – 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns, anti-tank grenade launchers, and small arms.
Verkhniotoretske – 120 mm mortars, weapons installed on BMP-2 IFVs, anti-tank grenade launchers, large-caliber machine guns, automatic easel-mounted grenade launchers.

No casualties were reported among troops with Ukraine’s Joint Forces as a result of the latest enemy attacks.
Particularly cynical was the shelling of the Shchastia crossing checkpoint, where a humanitarian convoy of the Office of the UN High Commissioner was at the moment of shelling. The enemy employed 82 mm mortars, automatic easel-mounted grenade launchers, and large-caliber machine guns. Luckily, the attack brought no casualties.
Since day-start on Saturday, February 19, Russia-controlled forces 12 times violated the ceasefire, including 11 times with the use of weapons banned by the Minsk accords.

In addition, an enemy-operated unmanned aerial vehicle, likely an Orlan-10, was spotted flying across the line of contact in Donetsk region.
No casualties were reported on Saturday so far.
