Occupiers shell Luhansk using heavy weapons

That's according to the press center of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation (JFO) headquarters, Ukrinform reports.

"Today, at about 21:00, Russian occupation forces carried out another provocation in order to accuse the Ukrainian military. The aggressor opened fire in the direction of Luhansk from the area of the settlement of Lobacheve, using heavy weapons," the statement reads.

According to the statement, since there are no aggressive actions from Ukrainian defenders, the invaders themselves blow up infrastructure facilities in the occupied territories and carry out chaotic shelling of settlements.

"It is obvious that the enemy continues to use its propaganda methods of waging an information war in order to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine and escalate the situation. By doing so, the invaders once again demonstrated their cynical and indifferent attitude to the life and health of civilians," the statement said.

The JFO Command officially states that the Ukrainian military strictly complies with the Minsk agreements and international humanitarian law. Therefore, allegations about the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly shelling settlements are outright lies and a provocation for which the occupying power bears the responsibility.
