Pentagon chief, Reznikov discuss further security assistance to Ukraine

We discussed the situation in eastern Ukraine, and we coordinated U.S. and international security assistance efforts to ensure the Ukrainians have the capabilities they need to keep countering Russia's aggression,” Austin posted on Twitter.

The previous conversation between Austin and Reznikov took place earlier this week.
On May 9, U.S. President Joe Biden signed into law the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 which will expedite the U.S. assistance program to Ukraine.
