FM Kuleba: New package of military aid from Spain already on its way to Ukraine

"We worked for a long time with José Manuel and our colleagues from other departments to ensure that Ukraine received a new package of military aid from Spain as soon as possible. I am very glad that the new package is already on its way to Ukraine, and our state will soon strengthen its defense capabilities, by receiving a battery of Aspide missile system and missiles for it, four Hawk air defense systems, anti-tank missile systems, mortars and munitions, as well as other military equipment," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said at a joint briefing with José Manuel Albares Bueno, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Ukraine’s top diplomat noted that Spain's decision to hand over Hawk systems to Ukraine was a signal for other countries and thanked Spain and Minister Albares for making quick decisions and setting an example.

As reported, Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares arrived on a visit to Kyiv on November 2.
