Ukraine ready to send military for NASAMS training in Norway as soon as possible

Ukraine’s Air Force is ready to send servicemen to the Kingdom of Norway in order to undergo training on the Norwegian Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) within the shortest time possible.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Grateful to the Governments of Norway and the United States for their decision to hand over two NASAMS systems for Ukraine to protect its airspace. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is ready to send servicemen from anti-aircraft missile units to Norway for training within the shortest time possible,” Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleshchuk noted.
A reminder that, on March 10, 2023, Norway announced the transfer of two complete NASAMS firing units to Ukraine in cooperation with the United States.
