NSDC Secretary announces thousands of long-range UCAVs to be in service with AFU

National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has announced thousands of unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs) with a flight range of more than 3,000 kilometers to be in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Secretary Oleksiy Danilov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The ‘Ukrainian swarm’ ‘named after Mathias Rust’ – dozens of models, thousands of drones. The UCAVs with a flight range of more than 3,000 kilometers in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Danilov wrote.
In addition, Danilov posted a photograph of the aircraft that landed near Red Square in Moscow on May 28, 1987, having bypassed the Soviet Union’s air defense systems. The plane was operated by the German aviator, Mathias Rust.
