Ukraine’s MoD accepts for service five models of armored vehicles since year-start

The list of models that was given a NATO code includes products designed by domestic and foreign defense companies.

According to the Ministry of Defense, wheeled armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles with enhanced anti-mine protection, and a repair and evacuation vehicle based on a tank chassis have been allowed to be used by the Ukrainian Army.

The armored repair and evacuation vehicle is equipped with special units and mechanisms for evacuating other armored vehicles and proceeding with repair work in field conditions.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, over the six months of 2024, the Ministry of Defense has codified and put into operation more than 20 models of specialized light motor vehicles.
