The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has already allocated over UAH 87 billion for the purchase of drones this year, including UAH 59 billion for DeepStrike UAVs. By the end of the year, this amount will have increased.

This was reported on Facebook by the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, Ukrinform saw.

"In 2024, 82% of electronic warfare equipment and 41% of UAV types were contracted by the Ministry of Defense less than three months after their codification," the minister noted.

Umerov says this allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to receive new anti-drone systems, tactical electronic warfare systems, reconnaissance aircraft, DeepStrike drones, kamikaze attack drones and copter bombers without bureaucratic delays.

"Our task is to provide the Army with high-quality drones and electronic warfare systems on time and in the right quantity. This is critical for Ukraine's victory," he stressed.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in 2025, the Defense Forces will receive more than 30,000 DeepStrike attack drones, capable of operating autonomously at a long range and hitting enemy targets with high accuracy.
