Umerov, representatives of French defense companies discuss creation of joint ventures

According to the minister, the products of French companies are already demonstrating effectiveness on the battlefield in Ukraine. The parties focused on developing the cooperation.

"Special emphasis was placed on direct procurement, localization of production in Ukraine, and the creation of joint ventures. This will strengthen the capabilities of Ukraine’s defense industry and ensure sustainable support for our Defense Forces," Umerov emphasized, thanking the French partners for their interest, openness to cooperation, and willingness to develop industrial solutions together with Ukraine.

Earlier, Ukraine's Defense Minister Rustem Umerov arrived on a working visit to France and met with French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu.
