Defense intel operatives receive gear bought with funds raised through charitable stamp sale

The Artan and Shaman special operations units with the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry received 1,353 units of protective gear from the Ukrposhta national postal operator and the KSE Foundation charity.

The agency reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform saw.

Over UAH 3.7 million for the purchase of equipment was raised through the sale of the charitable stamp "Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine".

"From now on, everyone who has purchased the Ukrposhta charity stamp dedicated to the country's top intelligence operatives can, without a twinge of conscience, consider themselves sponsors of special operations and exciting fire shows behind the invaders’ lines. The protective gear will immediately be delivered to special operations units that perform tasks at the front line and behind the occupation forces' lines," noted Ukrposhta CEO Ihor Smilianskiy.

For their combat missions, intelligence operatives received plate carriers, ballistic packages, and unloading belt systems.

As Ukrinform reported, as part of the "Birds of Victory" initiative, fighters from the 7th Carpathian Detachment of the State Border Guard Service received 22 fiber-optic FPV drones from the Dobro.Dii nonprofit.
