Ukravtodor to start implementing ITS on roads all over Ukraine next year

Acting Chairman of Ukravtodor Slawomir Nowak said this at the First International Congress on Reforming the Road Safety Management System on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"The introduction of the intelligent transport systems (ITS) is an important priority for us. I am happy to announce that this year we will announce a tender for ITS at the city's exits. This will be an integrated system for collecting data on traffic intensity, speed, etc. And next year, I hope that together with the EIB we will announce a big tender for such system throughout Ukraine," Nowak said.
