Moldova, Ukraine define priorities for cooperation in Euroregion Dniester
KYIV, November 21 /UKRINFORM/. Construction of a bridge over the Dniester in Yampil district, water purification systems in the towns of Soroca and Mohyliv-Podilsky, as well as opening the bridge Bronnytsia-Unguri, will be the priority projects to be implemented within the Euroregion Dniester.
Serhiy Tatusiak, chairman of the Vinnytsia Regional Council and the head of the Euroregion Council, announced this during a meeting with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Andrei Popov, the UKRINFORM correspondent in Moldova reported.
"The priority projects that we will implement with our Moldovan counterparts include building a bridge over the Dniester in the area of Yampil, opening the bridge Bronnytsia-Unguri, and commissioning water purification installations in Soroca and Mohyliv-Podilsky," Tatusiak stressed.
Cross-border cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism will be no less important, the head of the Vinnytsia Regional Council said.
Tatusiak will participate in the international forum on cross-border cooperation in enlarged Europe to be held in Chisinau on November 21, 2012.
