SFS customs offices to issue free of charge EUR.1 certificates in 2016

Customs offices begin to issue free of charge EUR.1 certificates for transporting goods in compliance with the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union from 1 January 2016.

The State Fiscal Service (SFS) website reports.

"The maximum liberalization of certificate issuance in the shortest period of time with simultaneous raising exporters’ responsibility for the accuracy of submitted information that are essential to determine the Ukrainian origin. The procedure for filling out and issuance of the EUR.1 certificate by customs is similar to that practiced in the European countries," a statement said.

The SFS notes that to simplify the procedures for the fiscal authorities have identified 162 customs offices and departments of customs clearance that are located in proximity to potential exporters.

While citing and using any materials on the Internet, links to the website ukrinform.net not lower than the first paragraph are mandatory. In addition, citing the translated materials of foreign media outlets is possible only if there is a link to the website ukrinform.net and the website of a foreign media outlet. Materials marked as "Advertisement" or with a disclaimer reading "The material has been posted in accordance with Part 3 of Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Advertising" No. 270/96-VR of July 3, 1996 and the Law of Ukraine "On the Media" No. 2849-Х of March 31, 2023 and on the basis of an agreement/invoice.
