Ukraine halves oil production in ten years – expert

In 2007-2017, Ukraine reduced oil production from 4.4 million tons to 2.2 million tons per year.
ExPro expert Hennadiy Kobal said this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"Over the past ten years, Ukraine halved its oil production, although there were no cataclysms in the industry," Kobal said.

According to him, the volumes of oil production in Ukraine in 2007 amounted to 4.4 million tons per year. Meanwhile, according to forecasts, the oil production in 2017 will reach 2.2 million tons and will remain at the level of 2016.
