Naftogaz received UAH 22.5 bln in net profit in 2016 - Economic Development Ministry

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine received UAH 22.5 billion in net profit in 2016, Maksym Nefyodov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine has said.
“Most of Naftogaz profit was gained due to the transportation of gas," Nefyodov said at a press briefing on Tuesday, August 22, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The first deputy economic development and trade minister also stressed that in the near future most state-run enterprises will be privatized. The government is also considering the issue of possible concession or joint state partnership, he added.
