Domestic gas production expected to rise by 4.1% this year

In 2017, the domestic gas production is expected to rise by about 4.1% compared to the last year's indicators.
Chairman of the Board of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya Oleh Prokhorenko said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"Over the nine months of 2017, compared to the same period last year, we managed to increase gas production by 4% and plan to reach the level of 4.1% by the end of the year," Prokhorenko said.
According to him, in July-September, PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya exceeded the level of last year by 7% thanks to the program of intensification of wells, their overhaul, acceleration and expansion of the drilling program and the installation of new compressors.
As the chairman of the board of PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannya noted, Ukraine currently demonstrates a positive dynamics in the development of gas production.
