PM Groysman expects increase in gas production in Ukraine and refusal of import

Ukrainian PM Volodymyr Groysman states that the draft law on amending certain legislative acts of Ukraine regarding the simplification of some aspects of the oil and gas industry is a step towards a large-scale increase of own production.
He wrote about this on Twitter.
"We have the potential to completely refuse the imported gas. The draft law adopted today is an important step towards the large-scale increase in our own production and the launch of new domestic projects in the gas sector," Groysman wrote.
As Ukrinform reported, on Tuesday, December 19, the Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the bill that provides for the simplification of procedures for obtaining the right to use land for oil and gas companies.
