Antonov Company aims to create new aircraft

“The key development mechanism for the company should become a clear plan for Antonov development. Antonov is the leader of the Ukroboronprom aviation cluster, as the world's leading innovative aircraft manufacturing center. This plan should be developed by a working group consisting of Antonov and Ukroboronprom experts. And one of the Concern's tasks is to ensure that Antonov can get new competencies in cooperation with international partners. Antonov is able to become a link in the international chain of aircraft construction,” Bukin said at a meeting held at Antonov, the press service of Ukroboronprom reports.

Also, he emphasized the need to produce aircraft for the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, which will provide an opportunity to create fundamentally new aircraft and significantly expand the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
