Sweden's IKEA, H&M to enter Ukraine this year
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze said this at a meeting with Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom in Stockholm on Wednesday, according to the Ukrainian government portal.
"Ukraine is an attractive place for many Swedish companies that wish to expand their business. We welcome the fact that well-known Swedish companies IKEA and H&M will enter the Ukrainian market already this year," Klympush-Tsintsadze said.
She drew attention to significant progress in trade and economic cooperation, noting that trade between Ukraine and Sweden grew by 4.2% in 2017 compared to 2016, to $510.9 million.
Klympush-Tsintsadze also noted that the Swedish-Ukrainian business forum remains an effective tool for the development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
This year's event will be held in Kyiv on June 14.
