Ukraine, EIB sign memorandum on allocation of 75 million euros for road safety

The Finance Ministry of Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB) have signed a memorandum on the financing of the project to improve road safety in Ukrainian cities.

The signing of the agreement took place on Thursday during a visit of Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman to the leading institutions of the EU, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

The purpose of the memorandum is to confirm common intentions of the Ukrainian side and the EIB regarding the completion of the coordination and signing of a financial contract to finance the project on improving the road safety in the cities of Ukraine during 2018.
