Ukrinform
The Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine has signed a memorandum with Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, the largest company developing the Hyperloop high-speed transport systems.

Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelian told this to journalists following the public discussion “Hyperloop in Ukraine” within the HypeUa project, with the participation of Hyperloop Transportation Technologies CEO Dirk Ahlborn, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have signed a memorandum with the company, which is the largest developer of Hyperloop technology. Among the results of this visit is the intention to work together to develop this technology. According to the memorandum, we will jointly develop technology and search investors for this project,” Omelian said.

According to him, this project should be commercially successful in Ukraine.

"I hope that we will be able to create a joint center in Ukraine. The location will be either in Kyiv or in Dnipro," said Omelian.

Hyperloop Transportation Technologies CEO Dirk Alborne, in turn, noted that the company is currently developing a similar project in nine countries.
