Poroshenko: Zorya complex successfully tests unique turbine. Photos

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said this to the staff of the complex within the framework of his working trip to Mykolayiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Today, the first tests of a new 32 MW turbine, which has no analogues in the world, have been carried out. Our competitors in the world are General Electric, Siemens, Rolls-Royce… However, Rolls-Royce is not a competitor as they do not have 32 MW. Their largest capacity is 25 MW," Poroshenko said, adding that the tests were successful.

The “Zorya-Mashproekt” Gas Turbine Research and Production Complex has a unique potential in its field, including personnel, the President noted and assured that the number of orders for its products would grow in the following years.

Poroshenko underscored that, having a high potential, Ukraine should "find a way for the production of its enterprises to new markets: the markets of Asia, India and the whole world."
