President: Economic development is a key task

"We can move forward only when we have economic successes. Yes, we have created the army. Yes, we have reached the international solidarity around Ukraine. Yes, I firmly advance Ukraine towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. However, the economic development remains a key task as it ensures raising social standards, increasing social protection of seniors, creating opportunities for youth," President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during the opening of the second stage of the construction of the plant "Skhidny" in Mykolayiv region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Poroshenko also announced his intention to continue to improve the investment climate in the country.

"We will resolutely continue to improve the investment climate in the country. We will protect the business from the state interference. We will help business to enter the foreign markets," the President stressed.
