Kravtsov: UAH 1 trillion needed to renew Ukrzaliznytsia

"Ukrzaliznytsia is the largest potential recipient of investments into the development of infrastructure and fixed assets. The total amount, which is needed and what must be done, makes up UAH 1 trillion," Kravtsov said during the forum "New Industrialization: Joint Actions of the Government and Business,” according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

He noted that Ukrzaliznytsia is the main transport chain in delivering Ukrainian exports.

“We transport almost all volumes of metal and ore to Ukrainian ports; we transport large volumes of grain, chemical products and others. As to the basic list of goods in 2018, namely ore and metal, then we see an increase in the volumes of transportation. We also have a significant increase in the chemical complex, and there has been a significant increase in grain exports in recent months," said Kravtsov.
