U.S. Embassy congratulates NBU on receiving Central Banking Transparency Award

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has congratulated the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on receiving the international Central Banking Transparency Award.
The diplomatic representative office wrote this on Twitter on Thursday, March 14.
“Congratulations to NBU for receiving the international Central Banking Transparency Award! We applaud Ukraine’s success in cleaning up the banking sector, and under independent leadership, the National Bank has played a critical role in this transformation,” the report says.

On March 13, the Central Banking Awards 2019 ceremony took place in London, the UK, although the winners were announced on January 23. For the first time in its history, the National Bank of Ukraine received the prestigious international Central Banking Transparency Award for making strong progress in improving its transparency and advancing communication with stakeholders.
