
Ukraine produces 8.8 bcm of gas since beginning of 2019
"Since the beginning of the year and as of May 2019, Ukrainian gas producing enterprises produced 8.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is 3.5% more than during the same period of last year," reads the report.
It is noted that Ukrainian consumers of all categories from the beginning of the year and as of May 2019 transported 13.6 billion cubic meters of gas by main gas pipelines, which is 12% less than in 2018.
Ukrtransgaz JSC also provided information on gas reserves in underground gas storage facilities.
Thus, in January-May 2019, 27 billion cubic meters of gas was pumped into underground gas storage facilities, which is 27% more than during the same period of 2018.
Gas volumes in underground storage facilities amounted to 11.4 billion cubic meters, which is 19% more than a year ago.
As reported, Ukraine plans to accumulate about 20 billion cubic meters of gas to ensure the stable heating season of 2019-2020.
