Ukraine already spends over UAH 360 mln on military housing in 2019

The state budget 2019 envisages UAH 833.4 million for the construction of housing for military personnel. Since the beginning of the year, UAH 364.5 million have been already used.
Head of the Social Payments Department of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine Vyacheslav Salakhov stated this, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“Since the beginning of the year, the Defense Ministry has used UAH 364.5 million for the construction of housing for servicemen, including UAH 62.5 million of these funds were paid as compensation instead of unreceived housing. In general, the state budget provides for UAH 833.4 million for these purposes this year,” he said.
He also noted that the financing of construction was carried out as planned and in accordance with the approved monthly list of state budget expenditures for the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.
