PrivatBank joins NBU BankID system
"We have very good news - PrivatBank has joined the BankID of the NBU! Now PrivatBank clients will be able to get remote access to financial, administrative and commercial services through the BankID remote identification system of the NBU," the NBU’s press service wrote on Facebook.
It is the third bank to join the system in 2020. In addition, since the beginning of the current year, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which launched the mobile app Diia (Action), and three other service providers have jointed the system.
The system currently includes 33 participants: 14 banks and 19 other institutions that support the use of this service.
The following 14 banks are participants of the BankID system: Forward Bank, Pivdennyi Bank, First Ukrainian International Bank (PUMB), Monobank (Universal Bank), Oschadbank, Kredobank, Radabank, Motor-Bank, Vostok Bank, Idea Bank, Alliance Bank, A-Bank, Alfa-Bank Ukraine, and PrivatBank.
As Ukrinform reported, the National Bank launched the BankID project in 2015. The NBU owns the system and regulates the relations between participants of the system. Ukrainian banks, government agencies and commercial enterprise can connect to the NBU BankID system free of charge.
