Owner of Vodafone Ukraine to allocate $1 mln to fight coronavirus spread in the country
"The group of companies NEQSOL Holding, owned by the telecom operator Vodafone Ukraine, has decided to allocate USD 1 million to fight the coronavirus in Ukraine. The funds are planned to be used for the purchase of equipment, testing systems, medicines, supplies needed in hospitals of Ukraine to protect doctors and treating patients as well as providing quality care,” reads the statement.
NEQSOL Holding explained that it took such a decision as Ukraine had a special place in the business structure of its group of companies.
“Ukraine is not just a new market for investment for us. It occupies a special place on the map of our business. We have family, friends, colleagues and business partners here. Therefore, the decision to allocate funds for the fight against the coronavirus in Ukraine was a completely natural step for us. We want to contribute to the care of Ukrainian citizens in this difficult time,” said CEO of NEQSOL Holding Yusif Jabbarov.
