SFGCU purchases grain worth UAH 328M under forward program

PJSC State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) purchased 109,460 tonnes of grain worth UAH 328.38 million from Ukrainian agricultural producers under this year's forward program, the corporation’s press service reports.
"During 2020, there have been purchases of food grains of three crops: wheat, barley and corn. In particular, 67,195 tonnes of wheat grain, 10,405 tonnes of barley grain and 31,860 tonnes of corn grain were purchased. The total volume of purchases amounted to 109,460 tonnes," reads the report.
As noted, the corporation plans to announce the start of grain procurement for the upcoming 2021 harvest. The corporation intends to buy more than 300,000 tonnes of grain.
