Kyiv-Skopje flights to be launched from Dec. 6 – embassy

“For the first time in Ukraine’s relations with the friendly Republic of North Macedonia, direct flights on the Kyiv-Skopje-Kyiv route will be launched from December 6, 2020,” the embassy wrote on its Facebook page.

Flights will be operated by Ukraine’s Windrose Airlines. Tickets are already available on the airline’s website.

Direct flights will help intensify bilateral cooperation, in particular, strengthen business ties, develop tourism in the two countries, and encourage people to learn more about each country, the Ukrainian diplomatic mission said.

Last year, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of North Macedonia Natalia Zadorozhniuk and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov signed a visa waiver agreement between the two countries.
