Ukrzaliznytsia carries almost 200,000 passengers during New Year holidays

Ukrzaliznytsia carried 196,100 passengers on long-distance trains during the New Year holidays - between December 31, 2020 and January 3, 2021, the state rail operator's press service has reported.
According to the report, 33,100 passengers were transported in Intercity+ high-speed trains during this period.
"The greatest demand was for trains going in the western direction, in which 104,000 passengers were transported, including 9,300 passengers in Intercity+ trains," the transport department said.
Ukrzaliznytsia offers 19 long-distance trains and high-speed trains to anyone who wants to celebrate Christmas in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
