Deposit Guarantee Fund paid more than UAH 13M to depositors of insolvent banks in May

In May 2021, the Deposit Guarantee Fund paid UAH 13.1 million to depositors of insolvent banks within the guaranteed refund program, according to the Fund’s press service.
In total, in January-May 2021, depositors received UAH 359 million within the guaranteed refund program.
The total amount of funds accumulated by the Fund amounted to UAH 16.2 billion as of June 1, 2021.
As of June 1, 2021, the register of the Fund's members included 72 banks. At the beginning of June 2021, the liquidation of 46 insolvent banks was underway. The liquidation of 51 banks was completed.
