Ukraine coal stocks up on month – state agency

Coal reserves increased by 8.7%, to 2.79 million tonnes as of July 1 over the previous month, the latest data showed.
That’s according to the State Statistics Service, Ukrinform reports.
From June 1 to July 1, 2021, coal reserves increased by 8.7%, to 2.79 million tonnes (28.6% down year-on-year).
As of July 1, 2021, compared to June 1, 2021, gasoline reserves decreased by 6.5%, to 124,370 tonnes (17.6% down on year); diesel fuels – by 6.3%, down to 328,400 tonnes (31.9% down); heavy fuel oils – by 1.3%, to 86,480 tonnes (14.8% down y-o-y); liquefied gas – by 21.0%, to 19,180 tonnes (16.8% down y-o-y).
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine plans to have completed by 2030 its coal industry reform.
