Ukrtransnafta decreases oil transportation by 4.9% in August

"In August 2021, the volume of oil transportation to oil refineries of Ukraine rose by 54.9% - to 349,000 tonnes of oil. At the same time, in August 2021 compared to August 2020, the transit of oil by pipeline through the territory of Ukraine decreased by 15.5% - up to 1.1 million tonnes. The total volume of oil transportation decreased in August 2021 compared to the same period last year – to 1.4 million tonnes,” reads the report.

In January-August 2021, the volume of oil transportation by Ukrainian pipelines came to 9.9 million tonnes, which is 4% less than in the same period last year. In particular, the volume of oil transportation for Ukrainian refineries reached 1.9 million tonnes (up 10.7% from the first eight months of 2020), transit - 8 million tonnes (down 7%).

As Ukrinform reported, the total volume of oil transportation amounted to 1.4 million tonnes in July 2021, which is 7% more than in July 2020.
