G7 Ambassadors support plans to reform and develop infrastructure in Ukraine

G7 Ambassadors heard from Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov on plans to reform and develop infrastructure in Ukraine and expressed their support. 

“Ambassadors outlined support for reforms, which will improve transparency and efficiency in the sector, particularly ensuring corporate governance to international standards,” reads the statement posted on Twitter account of the UK Presidency of the G7 Ambassadors’ Support Group in Ukraine.

As noted, G7 members are major investors in the sector and will continue to provide significant practical support for such reforms.

“Further work to align with international best practice, including on anti-corruption, will help attract more international investment to Ukraine,” reads the statement.
