Ukraine's GDP grows by 5.7% in Q2 2021 – State Statistics Service

Ukraine's gross domestic product increased by 5.7% compared in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, the State Statistics Service has reported.

Compared to the first quarter of 2021, the country's GDP shrank by 0.7% (taking into account the seasonal factor). Nominal GDP in April-June 2021 amounted to UAH 1.169 trillion, and GDP per capita was UAH 28,189.

Ukraine's nominal GDP in 2020 amounted to UAH 4.19 trillion, or 4% less than in 2019. GDP per capita in 2020 amounted to UAH 100,470.
