Zelensky changes composition of National Investment Council

According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 488/2021 of September 27, has been published on the website of the head of state.

In particular, the National Investment Council now includes Chairman of the Board of Directors at VEON Ltd. (the Netherlands) Gennady Gazin, Chief Representative of the Polish State Oil and Gas Company PGNiG S.A. in Ukraine Ireneusz Derek, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office Yulia Svyrydenko, and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank Teresa Czerwinska.

At the same time, Yulia Kovaliv, Vladyslav Kryklii, Ihor Petrashko and Suma Chakrabarti were removed from the composition of the National Investment Council.

This decree enters into force on the day of its publication.

The National Investment Council of Ukraine is an advisory body under the president of Ukraine.

The National Investment Council includes the prime minister, the chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine, the ministers of economy, finance, justice, as well as representatives of Ukrainian and foreign organizations and companies, businesspeople, experts on investment attraction, entrepreneurship development, and specialists in economics and finance.

The chairman of the National Investment Council is President Volodymyr Zelensky.
