Deposit Guarantee Fund: UAH 442M transferred to insolvent banks’ accounts in Sept

In September 2021, inflows of funds to banks being under liquidation amounted to UAH 442.6 million, of which UAH 427.7 million came from the sale of assets through electronic auctions, according to the press service of the Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine.

The largest revenues from the sale of assets came to the accounts of: JSC VTB Bank – 294.7 million, JSC JSB Arcada – UAH 64.9 million, JSC Misto Bank – UAH 53.6 million, JSC Rodovid Bank – UAH 12.1 million.

Another UAH 14.4 million came from loan repayments, from this source the largest revenues were received by PJSC CB Premium - UAH 8.6 million and JSC JSB Arcada - UAH 4.9 million.

In addition, banks managed by the Fund received UAH 0.5 million from property lease.

Overall, in January-September 2021, inflows of funds to insolvent banks reached UAH 2,011.7 million, including UAH 1,774.3 million from the sale of property, UAH 162.1 million from the repayment of loans, and UAH 64.9 million from the redemption of securities, and UAH 10.4 million from property lease.

As Ukrinform reported, in September 2021, the Deposit Guarantee Fund paid UAH 353.6 million to depositors of insolvent banks within the guaranteed refund program.
